A comprehensive draft treaty on strategic partnership between Belarus and Tajikistan has been drawn up, Ambassador of Belarus to Tajikistan Oleg Ivanov told the media. The ambassador also announced a joint visit of the two leaders to the plant assembling Belarusian tractors in Hisor. The plant in Hisor is a fully-integrated enterprise that includes delivery of components from Belarus, assembly and personnel training, the use of vehicles in the fields and harvesting. The presidents will get familiar with the harvests of cotton, wheat and vegetables cropped this year with the use of Belarusian equipment in Hisor.

The Belarusian head of state paid an official visit to Tajikistan in May 2018. The presidents inaugurated the plant to assemble Belarusian agricultural machinery in the town of Hisor.
