Lukashenko appoints judges of Minsk City Court, Minsk Oblast Court

MINSK, 4 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko appointed new chairpersons of the Minsk City Court and the Minsk Oblast Court. This is envisaged in Decree No. 38 “On the appointment and dismissal of judges” which was signed by the head of state on 4 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Pavel Korshunovich has been appointed the chairman of the Minsk City Court.

Eduard Kasperovich has been appointed the judge and chairman of the Minsk Oblast Court. Previously he worked as the first deputy chairman and judge of the Brest Oblast Court.

The president also appointed and dismissed a number of judges and chairpersons of various courts in Belarusian regions.
