MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – I do my best to avoid any steps that would escalate the situation in politics, diplomacy, and the economy, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said while answering questions following his Address to the Belarusian people and Parliament on 18 December, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko pointed out that he is attempting to steer clear of any actions that could provoke escalation in politics, diplomacy, or the economy.
The head of state is convinced that it is necessary to sit down at the negotiating table and reach agreements.
