Lavrov, Myasnikovich to discuss Russia's chairmanship in EAEU in 2023

MOSCOW, 29 September (BelTA) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Union Mikhail Myasnikovich will hold a meeting on 5 October, official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova told a briefing for the press in Moscow on 29 September, BelTA has learned.

"The parties are set to focus on the priorities of Russia's chairmanship in the Eurasian Economic Union in 2023 and the international agenda of the EAEU," the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"Russia attaches great importance to the development of cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union, the establishment of constructive interaction between the EAEU and foreign partners and the promotion of the Eurasian agenda in international organizations," Maria Zakharova emphasized.
