Kremlin: Lukashenko, Putin will meet on 22 February

MINSK, 18 February (BelTA – TASS) – The presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Aleksandr Lukashenko, will hold a meeting on 22 February. Extensive talks are expected, Russian president’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media on 18 February, TASS has learned.

"The meeting will take place next week. It is scheduled for 22 February. The two presidents will meet, we can expect very long negotiations," the Kremlin spokesman said.

According to him, bilateral relations and exchange of views on international issues will be on the agenda of the talks. "Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko certainly has something to say to the Russian president following the Belarusian People's Congress,” Dmitry Peskov noted.
