Kremlin confirms preparations for Putin’s participation in forum of regions in Mogilev

MOSCOW, 4 September (BelTA) – The Kremlin has confirmed that preparations are underway for President of Russia Vladimir Putin to participate in the fifth Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Mogilev, BelTA has learned.

“Yes, the trip is being organized,” the Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told media when asked about Vladimir Putin’s participation in the forum.

The fifth Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia is scheduled to take place in Mogilev on 11-12 October. Its organizers are the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia. Belarus and Russia take turns to host the forum every year.
