Kochanova, Batura, Rubinov honored with medals of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly

MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) – The Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States has awarded a group of Belarusian government officials and executives in recognition of a big contribution to the parliamentary activities of the Commonwealth. The awards were presented at the second session of the Council of the Republic on 31 May, BelTA has learned.

Chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich presented the medal “Twenty-Five Years of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly” to Head of the Belarus President Administration, member of the Council of the Republic of the fifth convocation Natalya Kochanova, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the fourth convocation Boris Batura, and Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the fourth and fifth convocations Anatoly Rubinov in recognition of their contribution to the development and enhancement of parliamentary government, development and improvement of the legal foundations of the CIS, strengthening of international ties and parliamentary cooperation.

A memorable sign “Twenty-Five Years of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly” was bestowed upon Information Minister Lilia Ananich and Chairman of the Nesvizh District Executive Committee Ivan Krupko in recognition of their contribution to the operation of the assembly and its bodies.
