MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – Belarusian and Russian prime ministers Andrei Kobyakov and Dmitry Medvedev held a telephone conversation on Belarus’ initiative on 14 September, BelTA learned from spokesman for the Belarusian prime minister Vladislav Sychevich.
The sides exchanged views on topical issues of Belarus-Russia cooperation in the bilateral format and in integration associations.
Andrei Kobyakov also extended birthday greetings to his Russian counterpart. He expressed confidence that Dmitry Medvedev will continue using his knowledge, experience, and professionalism to serve the interests of the friendly people of Russia and help strengthen the Belarus-Russia strategic partnership. Andrei Kobyakov expressed willingness to continue constructive interaction so as to implement promising joint projects and increase both countries’ economic potential.
The two prime ministers also agreed to hold another session of the Union State Council of Ministers in Gomel in November-December 2017. The date is to be announced in due course.
