MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) - An Indonesian parliamentary delegation will visit Belarus on 16-20 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarus’ House of the Representatives.
The delegation will be headed by Adang Sudrajat, Chairman of the Indonesia-Belarus Parliamentary Friendship Group of the House of Representatives of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia. The Indonesian MPs are scheduled to meet with Boleslav Pirshtuk, Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, and Vladislav Shchepov, deputy chairman of the standing commission on economic policy of the House of Representatives, the head of the working group for cooperation with the Indonesian parliament at the National Assembly, on 17 September, the press service informed.
The Indonesian delegation is set to meet with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Indonesian MPs are also set to visit the Minsk Wheeled Tractor Plant, BelAZ and MAZ automakers to get familiar with the product line-ups and to hold talks.
The visit holds an important place in the Belarusian-Indonesian agenda, given this year's celebration of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries, the press service of the House of Representatives said.
