India described as one of Belarus’ most important partners

MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to India President Ram Nath Kovind as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state emphasized that India is Belarus’ reliable and one of the most important partners in the political and economic dimensions.

“I am pleased to mention the stable development of the Belarusian-Indian relations and sincerely believe that mutual trust and understanding between our countries will be enhancing in the future, including by means of expanding trade and economic, investment and cultural ties,” Alexander Lukashenko remarked.
