MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Defense Minister, Lieutenant-General Andrei Ravkov met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer on 8 November, BelTA has learned. Peter Maurer is in Belarus on a working visit on 7-9 November.

Andrei Ravkov and Peter Maurer discussed the implementation of norms of international humanitarian law in the Belarusian army. Results of joint projects and events were summed up. Opinions about prospects of bilateral cooperation were exchanged.
