MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Grodno will host a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council on 8 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Council of Ministers.
Partaking in the session will be Belarus’ Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov.
The agenda of the event includes issues relating to the maintenance of macroeconomic and financial stability in the Eurasian Economic Union, coordination of the industrial policy of the member states, development of cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations, and formation of the common services market.
The participants of the session are expected to sign an agreement on the implementation of a pilot project to place control (identification) tags on goods classified as “items of clothing, clothing accessories and other items made of natural fur” in 2015-2016 and an agreement to coordinate activities related to the intellectual property rights protection.
A number of bilateral meetings will be held as part of the session.
