Georgia ready to share experience of developing cooperation with China with Belarus

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Georgia would like to share its experience of developing cooperation with China with Belarus. Georgia President Giorgi Margvelashvili made the statement during expanded-participation talks with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 1 March, BelTA has learned.

The Georgian head of state said: “You and I have touched upon international affairs. I would like to emphasize our interest in exchanging the experience of cooperation with China. We focus on the matter in our foreign economic policy. China’s interest in the region is tangible. We are interested in working together with you in this matter, too.”

Giorgi Margvelashvili said he was confident that new opportunities for tighter Belarus-Georgia cooperation in the international scene will emerge in the future. He underscored the high level of understanding between the two states and nations and between the leaders of Belarus and Georgia.

The Georgia President added: “The future of our dynamically advancing relations is definitely interesting and has great prospects.”
