Fulfillment of instructions to develop Orsha District enterprises reviewed

MINSK, 17 October (BelTA) – State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Stanislav Zas visited a number of enterprises in Orsha District, Vitebsk Oblast in order to check the fulfillment of the head of state’s instructions regarding the integral development of the local enterprises, BelTA has learned.

In particular, the state secretary of the Security Council of Belarus went to OAO Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant and OAO Tekhnika Svyazi. Top officials of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus informed him about results of the measures meant to develop the enterprises.

While on a tour of Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant Stanislav Zas was made familiar with progress of the reconstruction work, with the installation of process equipment in the existing manufacturing wings, and prospects of building new manufacturing premises. The company’s workload in 2019 was also discussed. Due to the larger volume of export contracts the portfolio of orders for the near future is full. Apart from expanding the choice of helicopters the company can repair Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant is about to start offering transport aircraft repair services.

While in OAO Tekhnika Svyazi Stanislav Zas heard a report on the company’s readiness to make more portable communications solutions for law enforcement agencies and civilian organizations in Belarus and to export products to foreign buyers. Progress in repairing the existing premises for the sake of housing the relevant manufacturing divisions was reviewed.
