MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko will pay a working visit to Latvia on 10 April to take part in the Belarusian-Latvian political consultations, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 6 April, BelTA has learned.

The Latvian delegation to the consultations will be led by Andrejs Pildegovics, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The parties will discuss a wide range of issues of the Belarusian-Latvian cooperation in politics, trade, economy and humanitarian affairs. They will also consider prospects for strengthening the legal framework. The relations between Belarus and the European Union, the Eastern Partnership initiative, and the interaction in international organizations are also on the agenda.

The parties will exchange letters from the ministers of foreign affairs of Belarus and Latvia on the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
