Foreign journalists granted access to cover Zapad 2025

MINSK, 18 August (BelTA) - Foreign journalists will be able to cover the Zapad 2025 military exercise, BelTA learned from the press service of the Defense Ministry of Belarus.

From 12 to 16 September, Belarus will host the Zapad 2025 joint strategic exercise of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation. Representatives of foreign media interested in covering the exercise must apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus no later than 28 August 2025. The list of documents required for accreditation is posted on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

Belarusian journalists will be accredited in accordance with national legislation and must adhere to the same deadline (28 August 2025). Applications should be submitted to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
