FM: Belarus is keen to deepen relations with Botswana

MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) - Belarus is keen to further relations with Botswana in a wide range of areas, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov said as he met with Botswana’s Minister of International Relations Phenyo Butale, BelTA learned.

The Belarusian minister of foreign affairs stressed that Belarus is eager to further deepen relations with Botswana in a wide range of areas. He also expressed gratitude to Botswana for the quick response to the invitation to visit Belarus.

For his part, Phenyo Butale noted that his country has a special interest in promoting trade and economic relations and developing cooperation in agriculture. Botswana is ready to serve as a gateway for Belarusian goods to the African market.
