European Commissioner Johannes Hahn to visit Belarus on 30 January

MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) - European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn is expected to visit Belarus on 30 January, Dmitry Mironchik, head of the information and digital diplomacy office, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told a press briefing, BelTA has learned.

Johannes Hahn is expected to meet with representatives of the Belarusian government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss mutual relations between Belarus an the EU, including prospects for the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, interaction in the area of international technical assistance. The meetings will also focus on the strengthening of the political dialogue between Belarus and the EU. According to Dmitry Mironchik, there are plans to talk over other aspects of mutual interest.
