MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) - Belarus makes a big contribution to the stability in the region, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said after the talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.

According to the President of Turkey, amid a negative situation in some countries of the region, Belarus demonstrates stability, pursues a long-term policy in relations with other states. He believes Belarus plays an important role in the promotion of peace not only in the region but throughout the world.

Summing up his visit to Minsk, Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed the decision of the Belarusian side to allocate a 10-hectare land plot for the construction of the Turkish Embassy in Minsk. “Turkey would like to start the construction of the embassy as quickly as possible,” the Turkey leader said.
