MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) - A delegation of Belarus’ Defense Ministry headed by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Defense Minister Major General Oleg Belokonev is in Azerbaijan on an official visit, BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.

On 13-14 July Oleg Belokonev is set to meet with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Defense Industry Minister and First Deputy Minister of defense-Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. During the negotiations, the focus will be on the development of cooperation between the states in the military area.

Oleg Belokonev also intends to visit the training centers of marine special forces and divers of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, several enterprises of the military-industrial complex. The Belarusian delegation will also visit Heydar Aliyev's Center and Martyrs’ Lane memorial complex.
