MINSK, 11 July (BelTA) – A delegation from the Chinese city of Chongqing will visit Minsk Oblast on 13-15 July, BelTA learned from the Minsk Oblast administration.

“The visit of the Chinese delegation will set the stage for new joint economic projects,” the officials said.

The delegation will be headed by Chongqing Mayor Tang Liangzhi.

The delegation from Chongqing is scheduled to meet with Minsk Oblast Governor Anatoly Isachenko, Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Cui Qiming and officials of the Belarusian ministries.

The guests from China are also set to take part in the opening ceremony of the Chongqing Culture and Tourism Days in Belarus, a ceremony to welcome the container trains from this Chinese city, to visit the Great Stone Industrial Park and the Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
