Customs services of Belarus, Vietnam adopt plan of cooperation for 2018-2021

Photo by the State Customs Committee of BelarusMINSK, 5 December (BelTA) – The State Customs Committee of Belarus and the General Department of Vietnam Customs adopted a plan of cooperation in the law enforcement area for 2018-2021 during a working meeting between the heads of the customs bodies of the two countries Yuri Senko and Nguyen Van Can in Hanoi on 5 December, BelTA learned from the State Customs Committee.

The parties considered issues related to the implementation of the e-verification and certification service for goods, which introduction is envisaged in the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), its member states and Vietnam, and also the establishment of the electronic exchange of information as part of the agreement.

Yuri Senko and Nguyen Van Can also discussed the expansion of cooperation between the customs bodies of Belarus and Vietnam and approved the joint statement on cooperation in the customs sector.

Attending the meeting was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam with concurrent accreditation to Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand Vladimir Goshin.
