Cuban delegation notes Belarusian people’s warmth, government’s serious intentions
MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – The Cuban delegation would like to note the warmth of the Belarusian people and serious intentions of the Belarusian government, BelTA learned from First Vice President of the Council of State and the Council of Ministers of Cuba Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez on 24 May.
The foreign guest admitted that he was pleased to be in Belarus on a visit. “These days we’ve been able to note the warmth and love of the Belarusian nation and the intentions of the entire government to continue developing the relations at the state level,” said Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
The Cuban statesman added that the main purpose of his visit is to discuss main cooperation projects and their state and find ways to expand cooperation.
The day before Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov. He also laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk.
