MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative Sanaka Samarasinha on 15 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian ministry.

The parties discussed the organization of events in Belarus to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the founding of the UN.

The sides also discussed the state and development prospects of cooperation between Belarus, the United Nations, and the UN/UNDP representative office in Minsk, including in the field of international technical assistance.
