Cooperation between Belarus, ICRC described as robust

MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) - Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Larisa Belskaya met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian diplomat conveyed Mirjana Spoljaric Egger the congratulations from Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei on her election as President of the ICRC in October 2022.

The Belarusian diplomat and the head of the ICRC welcomed the robust bilateral cooperation and discussed possible new areas of cooperation, taking into account the priority needs of the Belarusian society and the current situation in the region.
