Contribution of Belarus’ pharma industry in strengthening public health praised

MINSK, 15 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko extended professional day greetings to the workers of the Belarusian pharmaceutical and microbiological industry, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

“Our pharmaceutical and microbiological industry has come a long way over the years of independence - from the production of a modest line of drugs to the modern multi-product manufacturing of the most complex drugs, which are in demand in the healthcare system. You make a worthy contribution to the noble cause of preserving and strengthening the health of the nation. You are successfully tackling the key task of expanding the range of Belarusian quality and affordable medicines for import substitution. The most advanced technologies are being implemented. Production and export volumes are on the rise,” the message of greetings runs.

The head of state expressed confidence that high professionalism, commitment and experience of Belarusian specialists will help the domestic pharmaceutics and microbiology to continue moving steadily towards new achievements and successes.
