Belarusian, Turkish foreign ministers discuss events in region, situation in Ukraine

MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei talked to Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu over the phone on 3 November, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

Vladimir Makei and Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed topical matters concerning bilateral relations. Close attention was paid to the realization of top-level agreements and to bilateral events, which are supposed to take place soon.

The two officials also discussed current events in the region, including the situation in Ukraine.

The press service pointed out that Vladimir Makei spoke in positive terms about Türkiye’s efforts to resume the realization of the grain deal.
