Belarusian senators ratify agreements on visa-free travel with Nicaragua, El Salvador

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – The Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus ratified the agreements with Nicaragua and El Salvador on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic and service passports on 27 May, BelTA has learned.

The agreement with Nicaragua was signed in Managua in September 2015. It stipulates that Belarusian and Nicaraguan nationals holding diplomatic or service passports shall be exempted from having to obtain a visa for entry, exit, transit or stay in the territory of the other party for up to 90 days from the date of entry.

Belarus signed a similar document with El Salvador in New York in September 2015. The agreement provides for the same visa exemptions for visits up to 30 days.
