Belarusian Railways delegation attends Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation

MINSK, 22 November (BelTA) - A delegation of Belarusian Railways is taking part in the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT) in Moscow, BelTA learned from the press center of Belarusian Railways.

The delegation is headed by First Deputy Head of Belarusian Railways Piotr Dulub. Participants are set to discuss measures to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of container transportation along railways and multimodal routes of East-West and North-South international transport corridors, development of port infrastructure to ensure smooth organization of multimodal transportation, introduction of new digital solutions for international cargo transportation, promotion of trans-Eurasian routes as green transport corridors and simplification of cross-border operations and procedures. The agenda also includes issues related to the analysis of transport market conditions and the formation of the freight base of trans-Eurasian rail and intermodal transport, the promotion of trans-Eurasian container services in the international transport services market.

The Charter of the Future of the CCTT, which presents the vision, goals, and objectives of the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation, will be adopted. The event is taking place in a hybrid format in Moscow on 22-23 November.
