Belarusian PM meets with Kyrgyzstan president

CHOLPON-ATA, 25 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko and other heads of delegations participating in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council met with Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov, BelTA has learned.

According to the EEC press service, the heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union will discuss the amendments to the EAEU Treaty in terms of levying indirect taxes on electronic trade in goods sold to individuals, a list of priority integration infrastructure projects of EAEU countries in the transport sector, as well as further work to expand the use of national currencies of member states in the implementation of settlements in mutual trade.

The Eurasian Economic Commission will report to the Intergovernmental Council on the status of mechanisms to finance industrial cooperation in the EAEU and an agreement on the regulation of the EAEU alcohol market. To promote economic growth and expand mutual and foreign trade and economic relations in the EAEU, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council is set to sign a draft agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company.
