Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms support for Venezuela’s sovereignty

MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov met with Ambassador of Venezuela Franklin Ramirez Araque on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission to Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

The parties compared notes on the most topical matters of bilateral interaction and discussed plans for holding joint events in the near future. They noted mutual support in international organizations.

“Maxim Ryzhenkov reaffirmed the unwavering stance of the Republic of Belarus in support of the sovereignty of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The head of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to the ambassador of Venezuela for his fruitful work and personal contribution to the development of Belarus-Venezuela relations based on mutual trust and respect.
