Belarusian government approves technical assistance project to improve NPP safety

MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) - The Council of Ministers approved the international technical assistance project "Improving the safety, reliability and efficiency of a nuclear power plant at the initial stage of its operation". This is provided for by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 296 of 19 April 2024, which was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 20 April, BelTA has learned.

The project was approved following the proposals by the Commission on International Technical Cooperation under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus. The Energy Ministry shall coordinate and effectively monitor the project.

The resolution enters into force from the date of its adoption.
