MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik received the copy of the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Belarus Eduardo Villegas Megías, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Mexican dialogue across a wide range of issues, including political and inter-parliamentary cooperation, reaffirmed mutual interest in updating the bilateral agenda and filling it with a qualitatively new content. The parties noted the need for consistent development of the legal framework of bilateral relations,” the press service noted.
Special attention was paid to the ways of promoting trade and economic cooperation with an emphasis on such areas as agriculture, industry, information technology, and healthcare.
