MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs are expected to hold political consultations on 20 April. The Belarusian delegation will be led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko, BelTA learned from Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 13 April.

During the consultations the sides will discuss a broad range of Belarusian-Estonian cooperation matters. Taking into account Estonia’s presidency in the Council of the European Union in H2 2017, the development of Belarus’ relations with the European Union will be discussed as well.

Apart from that, Lassina Zerbo, Executive Secretary of the Preparatory Commission of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), is expected to visit Belarus on 18-20 April. A number of high-level meetings will take place while Lassina Zerbo is in Belarus. Lassina Zerbo is expected to take part in the roundtable session the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will organize. Plans have been made to exchange opinions about measures to reinforce the international nuclear non-proliferation regime. Lassina Zerbo is also expected to give lectures to university students.
