BEIJING, 12 June (BelTA – Xinhua) - Nikolai Snopkov, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration, co-chairman of the Belarusian part of the Chinese-Belarusian intergovernmental commission, met with Guo Shengkun, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee.

During the meeting Guo Shengkun noted that the concept of "building a community with a shared future for mankind" suggested by Chinese President Xi Jinping, and the consensus reached by the two countries' leaders during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit had opened up bright prospects for bilateral cooperation.

He also expressed the hope that the two sides would make good use of the mechanism of the commission to push forward cooperation in various fields and Belt and Road construction.
