Belarusian bus with passengers hit by drone in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast

MINSK, 2 July (BelTA) – A bus carrying passengers from Minsk to Anapa via Gomel has been damaged due to a drone strike on a parking lot in the vicinity of the border crossing Krasny Kamen in Bryansk Oblast, Russian Federation, BelTA has learned.

The incident happened at 11:55. As many as 19 people were on the bus. Two people from Gomel Oblast received light injuries as a result. They received the necessary medical aid.

The evacuation of the people has been organized.

All passengers of drone-attacked bus evacuated to Belarus

GOMEL, 2 July (BelTA) – A bus belonging to a Belarusian carrier, operating on the Minsk-Anapa route, was attacked by a drone near the settlement of Krasnaya Gora in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast, BelTA learned from Drector of the carrier company FIDI Express Konstantin Degterev.

According to him, the bus was carrying 19 passengers and two drivers. “The impact hit the windshield. Two people received shrapnel injuries from shattered glass. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt,” Konstantin Degterev said.

He noted that the company promptly sent a backup bus to the scene. “We immediately dispatched another bus. All passengers have already been picked up and are being transported to the territory of Belarus,” the company head stated.

The bus was operating a route from Minsk to Anapa via Gomel and Dobrush. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

Three people injured by drone strike on Belarusian bus in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast

MINSK, 2 July (BelTA) – Three people have been affected by a drone strike on a Belarusian bus in the vicinity of the customs checkpoint Krasny Kamen in Bryansk Oblast, Russian Federation, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

“Passengers of the bus that has been hit by a drone in Bryansk Oblast are in Belarus’ territory,” the Healthcare Ministry said.

A total of three people have been injured: two drivers of the bus and one passenger. They will be delivered to the Gomel Oblast Clinical Hospital where they will receive all the medical aid they need. Republican specialists will contribute to case management.

The Healthcare Ministry keeps monitoring the situation.
