Belarusian army officers, government officials promoted

MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed a number of decrees on 25 February to award army ranks and special ranks, the press service of the head of state told BelTA.

Colonel Ivan Boguslavsky and Colonel Yuri Shaplavsky have been awarded Major-General rank. Internal Service Colonel Igor Bolotov and Justice Colonel Pavel Ignatov have been promoted to the ranks of Internal Service Major-General and Justice Major-General respectively.

Vitebsk Oblast Prosecutor Vadim Sushchinsky has been promoted to State Councilor of Justice, 3rd class. Head of the Minsk Regional Customs Alexander Valiyev has been awarded a personal rank of State Councilor of Customs Service, 3rd class.
