MINSK, 5 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Argentina and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay (on concurrent) Viktor Kozintsev presented his credentials to Uruguayan Vice President Danilo Astori on 4 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

Uruguay Deputy Foreign Minister Luis Porto also attended the ceremony. After the ceremony, the sides noted the mutual interest in the gradual development of the Belarus-Uruguay cooperation. Viktor Kozintsev emphasized that Belarus is willing to develop the mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, to strengthen the business ties, and to expand the legal framework of the bilateral relations with Uruguay.
