Belarusian ambassador presents credentials to UAE president

 MINSK, 11 July (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Igor Bely presented his credentials to President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Belarusian diplomatic mission told BelTA.

“At the official ceremony, there was a brief conversation with the UAE president, during which Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the friendly and trusting nature of relations [between the two countries]. The president wished Ambassador Igor Bely success in his work and assured the diplomat that he will provide comprehensive support in his duties,” the Belarusian Embassy noted.

The parties also discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts, the current situation in the region, and the expansion of trade and economic cooperation.
