Belarusian ambassador attends annual meeting of Governors Association in Korea

MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Republic of Korea Andrei Chernetsky participated in the 15th Luncheon Meeting with Foreign Missions in Korea hosted by the Governors Association of Korea, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Seoul.
On the margins of the event, Ambassador Andrei Chernetsky held talks with the leadership of the association. The parties discussed, among other things, the development of bilateral cooperation. The diplomat reaffirmed the commitment of Belarus' regions to promoting productive relations with the provinces of the Republic of Korea.
Chairman of the association, Mayor of Busan Park Heong-joon and the Dean of Diplomatic Corps in the Republic of Korea, Ambassador of Morocco to Korea Chafik Rachadi delivered welcoming remarks to the diplomatic community and governors of the Korean regions.
The event featured a presentation of the events to be held in Korea in 2025 and a discussion of the projects with foreign diplomatic missions.
