Belarus, Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh to increase interregional visits

MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – Consul General of Belarus to Ho Chi Minh Ruslan Barankov met with chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Vice Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee Nguyen Thi Le on 6 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy.

The parties exchanged opinions on the most important issues of Belarusian-Vietnamese interregional cooperation, with the focus on trade, economic, and humanitarian sectors.

Special attention was paid to the mutual exchange of visits of delegations from the regions of Belarus and Ho Chi Minh City to participate in major international initiatives of the two countries.

Nguyen Thi Le emphasized a great potential in the development of bilateral relations and expressed confidence that the Belarusian mission in Ho Chi Minh City would become an important bridge between the Belarusian regions and the Vietnamese city.
