MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) – An agreement to expand and intensify the cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam in the education sector was reached at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Goshin and Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties agreed to improve the legal framework of bilateral relations through its adaptation to present-day conditions and needs in the area of training specialists in the establishments of higher education of the two countries.

The parties also considered the prospects of bilateral cooperation in education, and the possibility of holding events aimed at increasing the number of students in the institutions of higher education of the two countries, including in line with the implementation of the agreement between the governments of Belarus an Vietnam on cooperation in the education sector.
