Belarus, Vietnam discuss situation in region, cooperation in international arena

MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei held a telephone conversation with his Vietnamese counterpart Bui Thanh Son on 14 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The parties discussed the state and prospects of Belarusian-Vietnamese relations, the state of affairs in the region, and interaction between the two states in the international arena. The parties emphasized the traditionally high level of cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam and confirmed their mutual interest in maintaining the positive momentum in the bilateral relations in various areas,” the ministry said.

The parties also exchanged opinions on the situation and prospects of resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
