Belarus, Venezuela seek to step up cooperation in education

MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Venezuela Andrei Molchan met with Venezuelan Minister for Higher Education Cesar Trompiz in Caracas on 27 January, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Venezuela.

“The parties discussed possible ways to intensify cooperation in higher education, taking into account the intergovernmental cooperation agreement between Belarus and Venezuela,” the embassy noted.

The talks also focused on possibilities for Venezuelan students to study at Belarusian universities, majoring in areas that are relevant for Venezuela. Andrei Molchan and Cesar Trompiz outlined prospects for cooperation between universities, including conferences, seminars, and forums.
