Belarus, Venezuela reaffirm commitment to strengthening cooperation

MINSK, 15 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik held a telephone conversation with Venezuela’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Carlos Rafael Faria Tortosa on 14 December, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His Venezuelan counterpart congratulated Sergei Aleinik on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in strengthening cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed steps to develop cooperation between Belarus and Venezuela with an emphasis on political, trade, and economic areas.
