The parties discussed bilateral cooperation, especially in iron and steel manufacturing. According to Vitaly Vovk, the talks are underway on hot briquetted iron (HBI) and the production of railcars, chassis, wheels, axles, sleepers and support materials, WAN informs.

“This is just the beginning of brotherly relations that will help develop our trade cooperation, the union that was laid down by Hugo Chavez and President Alexander Lukashenko. We will be strengthening cooperation through basic companies and heavy industry of Belarus,” said Juan Arias.

The meeting took place ahead of the first shipment of iron bars produced by Briquetera del Orinoco to Belarus.
