Belarus values partnership, friendship with Oman amid modern challenges

MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman as the country celebrates the 50th National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Oman remains a long-standing friend and a reliable partner of Belarus, what is especially valuable amid modern challenges and threats,” the message of greetings reads.

The Belarusian head of state reaffirmed the interest of Minsk in the intensification of cooperation with Muscat in politics, trade, the economy and investment. “The bilateral cooperation in science, technology, education and culture is increasingly vibrant,” the president remarked.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said strong health and productive activities. He also wished people of Oman peace and prosperity.
