TASHKENT, 13 September (BelTA) - Belarus and Uzbekistan will develop a roadmap for cooperation in the next few days, Belarus’ Minister for Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told the media following the talks between the heads of state in Tashkent, BelTA has learned.
“We agreed that literally within a few days we will draw up an extensive roadmap for our cooperation for the short and medium term which will identify specific projects and sources of funding,” Vladimir Makei said.
According to him, Uzbekistan is ready to work on expanding the comprehensive cooperation with Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko instructed the government to develop and implement projects in different regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan. “We are happy to see Uzbekistan’s attitude. We see a sincere interest in all-round deepening of cooperation in trade, economy, politics and other areas,” the minister said.
