Belarus, Uzbekistan discuss mechanisms for implementing high-level agreements

MINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov accepted copies of the credentials of Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belarus Nuriddin Mamajonov on 27 July, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties reviewed current issues of Belarus-Uzbekistan cooperation in the political, economic and other areas, including the implementation of promising joint projects.

They highlighted the dynamic nature of bilateral partnership at all levels. The sides discussed mechanisms for implementing the agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries, as well as the roadmap for cooperation in 2026-2030, which envisages, among other things, specific practical measures to increase bilateral trade.

The meeting also covered preparations for upcoming bilateral events, including those focused on economic cooperation.

The parties reaffirmed the strategic nature of Belarus-Uzbekistan relations and expressed their intention to continue joint efforts to deepen bilateral dialogue.

Maxim Ryzhenkov wished the newly appointed ambassador success in his diplomatic mission.
