MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – Belarus and the United Kingdom will update the legal framework for bilateral cooperation in culture, sport, and tourism. The matter was discussed during the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland Sergei Aleinik and Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport of the United Kingdom John Whittingdale, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties exchanged views on current matters of cooperation in culture, sport, and tourism. Besides, Sergei Aleinik and John Whittingdale discussed further steps to develop cooperation in these fields. Updating the legal framework for bilateral relations is one of them.
